Choosing a Major

It's perhaps the most important career decision you'll ever make! What career do you really want to pursue in life? What do you really know about the world of work? How do you know what you really want to do?

These questions are asked by every high school graduate entering college. For some, the answer is easy or obvious. But for most students, this is a tough decision.

We offer great workshops and individual coaching for high school juniors / seniors and college students. We can help you find some answers and reduce the anxiety of choosing your college major.

You’ll learn how to evaluate your knowledge, skills, gifts, personality, values, opportunities, and interests and relate them to occupations. We’ll provide you with keen insight into careers, occupations, and majors. Learn how to manage your major and career.

You’ll receive a practical and personal 40 page workbook, tips on how to continue your exploration, key resources, and more. Discover more meaningful options that make sense for you!

We use the best assessment tools (used by 89 of the Fortune 100 companies):

  1. Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) provides keen insight into personality preferences which influence communication, learning styles, work environments, etc.

  2. Strong Interest Inventory® evaluates personal interests and provides keen insight into how interests align with people who enjoy their career.

The “Career Journey Workshop” is designed by psychologists to promote a positive outlook while managing anxiety .
